Established in 2015, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad is dedicated to creating an environment that enables students and faculty to engage in the pursuit of knowledge, dream, think and innovate to become a change agent for a better world. Celebrated as a major granary of Kerala, Palakkad is the gateway to the State, from the East in the form of the nearly 40-kilometre break in the Western Ghats, called the Palakkad Gap. The Centre for Industry Collaboration & Sponsored Research (IC&SR) in IIT Palakkad has been set up in July 2018 to promote, facilitate, coordinate and administer all the sponsored and consultancy projects of the Institute. IC&SR functions as the interface between the faculty and external funding agencies (government and private agencies), both national and international.

Eligibility
Senior Software Engineer 01 Post
Qualification and Experience : First class B.E. /B. Tech /MSc. Degree or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognized University/institute of repute.
At least 5 years of experience with hands-on working experience and strong knowledge in the following: MVC framework, Web development framework (like Spring), PHP, Java technologies, J2EE
technologies especially JSP, JDBC, HTML5, JSON, Java script frontend
framework like jQuery. Web service tools and XML. Database design
and development for efficient online transaction processing environment using RDBMSs like PostgreSQL, etc. Software
development processes including various life-cycle models. UML,
system and class design, development, testing and maintenance of
software systems.
Software Engineer 02 Post
Qualification and Experience : First class B.E. /B. Tech /MSc. Degree or equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognized University or reputed institution. At least 2 years of experience with hands-on working experience
and strong knowledge in any of the following: MVC framework, Web
development framework (like Spring), PHP, Java technologies, J2EE
technologies especially JSP, JDBC, HTML5, JSON, Java script
frontend framework like jQuery. RDBMSs like PostgreSQL, etc.
Software development processes including various life-cycle models.
Remuneration
Senior Software Engineer : Consolidated monthly remuneration for this position will be in the range Rs. 60,000 to 80,000/-. The exact amount will be fixed based on experience and skill-set.
Software Engineer : Consolidated monthly remuneration for this position will be in the range Rs.40,000 to 60,000/-. The exact amount will be fixed based on experience and skill-set.
