IIT Mandi is conducting walk-in interviews for the recruitment of Medical Officers on a contractual basis. The positions are temporary, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and institutional needs. The interviews will be held on 3rd July 2026 at 09:00 AM in the Conference Room, CV Raman Guest House, North Campus, IIT Mandi.

Eligibility
Medical officer: MBBS, including completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Registered with Medical Council of India /State Medical Council.
Preference will be given to the experienced candidates.
Specialist Doctor: Post-graduate diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital.
MD, or MS, or DNB in an appropriate branch of Medicine/Surgery.
Speciality like General Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology will be given preference. However other clinical specialists may also apply.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Medical Officer: Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,00,000/- based on qualifications and experience.
- Specialist Doctor: Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/-.
