The main campus of IIT Mandi (Indian Institute of Technology Mandi) is in Kamand valley. The village is located in Mandi Tehsil of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. The IIT Mandi Cell was set up at the IIT Roorkee on 18^th March 2009, to steer the activities of the IIT Mandi. The IIT Mandi was registered as a society in Uttarakhand, on 20^th June 2009.Plans were finalized for development of a Transit Campus of IIT Mandi at Govt. Post graduate College, Mandi in August, 2009 during the visit of Shri Ashok Thakur, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, MHRD, Department of Higher Education, on Aug. 13^th, 2009. This campus will start functioning in near future and will be in operation till the main Campus at Kamand is developed.

Eligibility

• PDF/ Senior Project Associate-II/SRF/ Senior Project Engineer/ Project Engineer/ Project Scientist, etc. (No. of positions – 1)
• Minimum Qualification :PhD in the relevant field of VLSI, Electronics/Materials Science and Engineering/Biomedical engineering /Instrumentation Engineer/Chemical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent in the related areas. or BTech/M.Sc. /M.Tech in VLSI, Electronics/Materials Science and Engineering/Biomedical engineering /Instrumentation Engineer/ Chemical Engineering /Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent in the related areas plus 5 years’ experience or Equivalent Or M.Sc. /M.Tech in VLSI, Electronics/Materials Science and Engineering/Biomedical engineering /Instrumentation Engineer/ Chemical Engineering /Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent in the related areas + at least 2 years of experience. Or M.Sc. /M.Tech in VLSI, Electronics/Materials Science and Engineering/Biomedical engineering /Instrumentation Engineer/ Chemical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent in the related areas. Desirable Experience for all the posts: – Understanding of basic electronics circuit and wireless server network (WSN) user system integration. – Good knowledge in printable flexible/stretchable electronics, circuits, sensors (pressure, temperature, etc.), or wearable/implantable devices. – Experience in applied and solid mechanics, machine design, and rehabilitation instrumentation is desired. – Good knowledge of mathematical modeling aspects, exo-skeleton design. Good knowledge of AI/ML concepts and data analytics.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• 20,000/- to 60,000/- subjected to the qualification, Interview performance and relevant experience.
