Description

Applications are invited for the temporary post of Embedded Software Engineer, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras.
Co-ordinator: Prof.Kamalesh Hatua, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Madras.
Duration: Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.
Number of Vacancies: 01 All the positions are on purely contract basis.

Embedded Software Engineer : 01 Post

Qualifications and Experience: B.Tech and BE equivalent Fresher and Experience both applicants can enroll for the post.

Required Skills:

• Design and develop embedded firmware for micro-controller based automotive product
• Knowledge of C/C++, Eclipse IDE, VHDL
• MATLAB/Simulink, Model based design, Embedded coder & Code generation
• Knowledge of communication protocol SPI, CAN /CAN-FD, LIN
• Knowledge on NXP S32KX automotive ARM processor or equivalent Microcontroller architectures.
• Knowledge of configuration module of AUTOSAR
• Knowledge of Automotive system development standard CAN, UDS
• System design & multitasking real time operating systems (RTOS)
• Knowledge on Reading Schematics and data sheets,
• Debugging low level hardware interfaces (USB, LIN, I2C, UART, PWM, GPIO, ADC/DACs etc).
• Testing and debugging of hardware with embedded controller
• Experience in Lab Tools – CC/CV Power Supply, Logic Analysers, oscilloscope, Board bring up, Hardware and software testing, JTAG Debuggers and Programmers, Soldering etc..

Minimum Yearly Remuneration

Rs 15,000/- to Rs 40,000/- Per month (Salary depending on experience).
