Description
Applications are invited for the temporary post of Chief Operating Officer, The Office of Global Engagement, IIT Madras. Oversee daily administrative and operational functions of the Energy Consortium, reporting directly to the CEO, Energy Consortium. Execute the established framework for prospective industry partnership and engagement with energy consortium. Manage relationships and ongoing engagements with the founding and affiliate industry members of the consortium and the government partners. Support outreach efforts with prospective partners and facilitate all visits to the Energy Consortium affiliated faculty and labs.

Eligibility
Chief Operating Officer
- Incumbent should have minimum relevant work experience of at least 5 years.
- Educational background in any engineering, science, economics or business streams at Masters level would be mandatory.
- Additional certifications or specific trainings would be welcome. Project management experience would be a plus.
- Knowledge and experience working in the energy domain would be a plus.
Minimum Yearly Remuneration
Chief Operating Officer – Rs 20 Lakh /- Per Annum (Competitive salary commensurate with experience)
