Applications are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following temporary position in the Sponsored Project at this Institute. The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 01 Year, and same extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on a contractual basis with consolidated pay. Project Title is “ Mapping Heritage Language Structure Through Sociolinguistic Cues: A Case Study of Swiss Tamil “.

Eligibility
Research Associate
Educational Qualification : Post graduate in Linguistics/English/ Tamil/social science discipline (55%minimum) with NET/M. Phil/Ph.D
Desirable Qualification:
- Knowledge of linguistic fieldwork, transcription, data
collection, documentation. - Working knowledge of Tamil or any other Dravidian
knowledge.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Research Associate – Rs. 25,000/-
