Applications are invited from the citizen of India for filling up the following temporary position in the Institute Project at this Institute. The position is purely temporary, initially for a period of 03 months, and same extendable but co-terminus with the duration of the project, on a contractual basis with consolidated pay. The requisite qualification, experience and other details are given below:
Project Title: Understanding the impacts of Pre-Monsoon heat stress on Indian Summer Monsoon Precipitation in Arid regions of India under changing and anthropogenic climate.
Position
- Junior Research Fellow – 01 Post
Eligibility
Bachelor or postgraduate degree in the field of Civil Engineering/Hydrology/Earth Sciences/Atmospheric Sciences with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination GATE/NET qualified.
Desirable Qualification:
Experience in handling large datasets like weather/climate data and experience with WRF. Knowledge of data analysis and visualization using programming languages like MATLAB/R and other relevant software packages.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Junior Research Fellow – Rs. 37,000/-+ HRA (As per institute norms)
