The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Project Assistant. Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• For Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.E./MTech./M.S. (Research) or equivalent in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or Mathematics & Computing with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. A valid GATE score is required unless the degree was obtained through a GATE score.
• For Project Assistant: B.E./B.Tech. /M.Sc./MCA in relevant fields with at least 80% marks or equivalent CGPA. A valid GATE score is mandatory for B.E./B.Tech. candidates.
• Desirable: Prior research experience in machine learning, computer vision, or related fields.
• Upper age limit: 28 years, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and other categories.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month + HRA for the first 18 months, ₹42,000 per month for the third year (no HRA).
• Project Assistant: ₹27,000 per month (no HRA).
