Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or an M.Tech. in Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology, Energy Science and Technology, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute. A consistently good academic record is essential. Additionally, candidates must have qualified a recognized national-level examination such as GATE or CSIR.

Desirable qualifications include hands-on experience in material synthesis, materials characterization, and electrochemical testing of battery materials. A strong fundamental knowledge of electrochemistry and good scientific writing and communication skills are also preferred. The upper age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically challenged candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 37,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years
  • INR 42,000 per month plus HRA in the third year
