Description

The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to a cutting-edge research project in the field of Chemistry. The project focuses on Organic Synthesis, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment. The position is initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Position

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Chemistry, specializing in Organic Synthesis

Eligibility

1. M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry.

2. At least 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in aggregate in Masters from a recognized institute/university as a full-time program.

3. And Qualified in any of the following National eligibility tests/exams: 

       1.GATE

       2.CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) 

       3. National level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and                            Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc. 

 Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 37,000 per month plus 20% HRA

The interview may be conducted online or offline, and candidates must bear their own expenses for attending the interview or joining the position if offered.
