Description

The Research Assistant position at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad involves engaging in a mixed-methods study focusing on the psychological and behavioural impacts of Kalaripayattu, a traditional Indian martial art, on youth. The role requires the candidate to collect and analyze both quantitative (survey-based) and qualitative (interviews) data. Additionally, the Research Assistant will assist in preparing comprehensive research reports and may need to travel to various study locations as part of the project requirements.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in any social science discipline with at least 55% marks. Preference will be given to those with NET, M.Phil., or Ph.D. qualifications. Additionally, familiarity with martial arts, prior research experience, and good communication skills are desirable. The age limit for applicants is preferably below 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000 per month
