Description

The Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad is seeking a Project Associate-I for a project titled “Resilient Edge-LoRa System for Early Gas Hazard Detection in Coal Mines and Adjacent Communities.” This project focuses on developing a system to detect gas hazards early, thereby enhancing safety in coal mines and surrounding areas. The selected candidate will be involved in designing the system prototype, developing algorithms, evaluating performance, and preparing reports and research articles. Experience with embedded systems, wireless protocols, C/Python programming, and Machine Learning is preferred.

Eligibility

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in CSE, Mathematics & Computing, EEE, ECE, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields with a Valid GATE or NET Score

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• ₹31,000 per month (for candidates with a qualified GATE or NET score)
