Description
The Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a sponsored project titled “Power Management and Quality Enhancement of Traction Substation in Indian Railways: A Power Conditioning and Energy Storage Approach.” This project aims to study the integration of energy storage systems at railway substations, involving simulation studies with power systems, railway traction loads, and energy storage systems. The role includes coding, analysis, report preparation, paper publication, presentation, and project coordination.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a postgraduate (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields. Selection is through National Eligibility Tests like CSIR-UGC or national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies. A first-class or equivalent in all academic qualifications from UG degree onwards is required. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of power systems and power electronics.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated salary of Rs. 37,000 per month. No HRA is provided.
