Description

The Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position. This role is part of a project sponsored by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), focusing on the study and establishment of performance and safety parameters for Leather Stitching Machines. The project involves researching various standards such as ASME, ASTM, JIS, DIN, and ISO, and visiting manufacturing units and laboratories in India to gather data.

Eligibility

JRF – B.E./BTech/M.E./M Tech/M.Sc.Engg. or equivalent in streams like Mechanical Engineering, Mining Machinery Engineering, or Production Engineering, and GATE-qualified.

SRF -Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of experience. 

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000/- per month for JRF
• Rs. 42,000/- per month for SRF
