Indian Institute of Technology Indore Junior Research Fellow (three positions), Senior Research Fellow (one position) and Project Engineer (one position)

The Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) is inviting applications for several exciting project positions under the National Quantum Mission. This recruitment drive aims to fill positions for Junior Research Fellows, a Senior Research Fellow, and a Project Engineer. Description

The project positions are part of a thematic hub sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Selected candidates will work on developing and optimizing high-performance quantum routers and switches, designing quantum network protocols, and researching entanglement management techniques. The project focuses on ensuring low latency and minimal noise in quantum communication networks, implementing quantum cryptographic schemes, and developing disaster-aware algorithms for robust quantum networks.

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Three positions
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – One position
• Project Engineer – One position

Eligibility

The candidates should possess a strong background in Communications Signal Processing, AI/ML, Network analysis, and protocol implementation and testing. Specific qualifications include:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Optoelectronics, Microwave Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, preferably with a GATE score.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Ph.D. and/or equivalent in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Optoelectronics, Microwave Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, preferably with a GATE score.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): ₹37,000 per month + 20% HRA
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹42,000 per month + 20% HRA
