Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is part of a research project focused on the development of thermally deposited noble-metal-free mixed metal oxide electrodes for application in harsh corrosive environments. The project is funded by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) and aims to synthesize acid-stable transition metal oxide-based electrocatalysts and study their electrochemical and corrosion behaviour in corrosive environments.

Eligibility
Candidates must have an M. Tech. / ME in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or equivalent with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/University. Alternatively, a master’s degree in chemistry/Materials Science or equivalent with first division is acceptable. Preference will be given to candidates who are GATE/NET-LS qualified. The maximum age limit is 30 years, with a relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month (Consolidated)
