Advertisement for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for a JRF position in the research project “Latency Optimization for Reliable Edge Compute Service Delivery using Reinforcement Learning” (SERB-funded CRG Project). This project focuses on optimizing latency in edge computing, with a strong emphasis on reducing tail latencies. The research utilizes deep learning and reinforcement learning frameworks.

Eligibility

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility: Master’s degree in CSE, IT, Electronics, Electrical Engineering/ Technology, and/or related fields (with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/University) AND GATE qualification in respective fields. OR Four-year Bachelor’s degree OR five-year integrated degree in CSE, IT, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering/ Technology and/or related fields (with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/ University) AND valid GATE qualification in respective fields. OR Master’s degree in CSE, IT, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering/ Technology and/or related fields (with first division as defined by the awarding Institute/ University) AND UGC/CSIR-JRF (NET) qualification.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

The amount of the JRF fellowship will be Rs. 31,000 + HRA following the IITI institute policy. The initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to the duration of the project solely based on performance.
