The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be involved in a cutting-edge research project titled “Leveraging NCMRWF weather forecasts for enhanced streamflow forecasting with deep learning.” The project is housed within the Civil Engineering Department and focuses on developing a deep learning-based ensemble streamflow forecasting system with a 15-day lead time. Duration of the Appointment: Initially for 1 year, may be extended as per institute and funding agency guidelines.
Eligibility
Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in engineering in Water/Environment/Civil Engineering /Computer Science related areas with first class and/or GATE/CSIR- UGC NET/CSIR-UGC LS/INSPIRE,
Desirable Qualification: Experience in CFTI/research labs/ industry with similar nature of work.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 + HRA as per institute rules
