The Indian School of Mines was formally opened on 9th December 1926, by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India to address the need for trained manpower related to mining activities in the country with disciplines of Mining and Applied Geology. In 1967 it was granted the status of a deemed to be university under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956. Since its establishment, IIT(ISM) has undergone considerable expansion of its activities, and presently it can be considered as a total technology education institute.

Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad Invites Application For The Post Of Project Leader. Title of the projet is Capacity building for human resource development in Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone and related Technology. Contributing effectively to various activities of the project e.g., Proof-of-Concept development, generation of IPR, organization of Bootcamps, assisting in the design of Master Trainer courses, etc. concerned with the development of manpower and research in drone electronics. The candidate will be responsible for all developments in the project in these areas.

Eligibility

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. with 1 year of post-PhD relevant experience or, Masters with 3 years of relevant experience or B.Tech with 5 years of relevant experience in streams like Electronics &
Communication Engineering/Computer Science/Aerospace/ Mechanical with good academic background. The PhD specialization of the candidate should be aligned with subjects relevant to drone electronics.

Desirable Qualification:

• At least two publications in SCI journals
• Post-PhD/Post-Masters/Post-Bachelors industrial experience in drone technologies
• Good communication skills, both in scientific writing as well as presentation

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Leader- 75000 INR per month along with suitable HRA
