The main campus of IIT Mandi is in Kamand valley. The village is located in Mandi Tehsil of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. The IIT Mandi Cell was set up at the IIT Roorkee on 18^th March 2009, to steer the activities of the IIT Mandi. . The IIT Mandi was registered as a society in Uttarakhand, on 20^th June 2009.Plans were finalized for development of a Transit Campus of IIT Mandi at Govt. Post graduate College, Mandi in August, 2009 during the visit of Shri Ashok Thakur, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, MHRD, Department of Higher Education, on Aug. 13^th, 2009. This campus will start functioning in near future and will be in operation till the main Campus at Kamand is developed.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) invites the applications for the post of Coaches and Gym Trainer (purely temporary basis). Details of post, eligibility criteria, qualification etc. are given below Himachal Pradesh, India – 175075

A Selection process (including trial) will be held at IIT Mandi for the post of part-time Coaches and Gym Trainer (purely temporary basis) for the period up to 31.12.2022. The honorarium amount of Rs. 10000/- to Rs.15000/- per month will be paid based on experience and qualification of candidate(s).

• Coaches and Gym Trainer

Eligibility

Coaches:- Bachelor’s / Master degree in physical education / Certificate course in coaching from recognized institution / NIS Diploma in a particular game.

Gym Trainer:- Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) and preferably certified trainer or two years work experience as trainer.
Note: The qualification can be relaxed for the candidates who represented state in Senior National or having other notable qualifications and experience in sports coaching

Games: Athletics, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Table Tennis, Hockey, Weight Lifting and Gym Trainer.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Pay (Consolidated) Rs 20,000 – Rs 25,000

Eligible and interested candidates may walk-in for trial session and selection on above mentioned date and time along with an application letter, updated CV and supporting documents of qualifications & experience. They are also required to bring a passport size photograph.
Note: a) Free Institute bus services will be available from Mandi (Mandav Campus near bus stand) to South Campus (Kamand) at 08:00 AM on the date of selection process.
b) No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates for attending the trial and selection process.
