The main campus of IIT Mandi (Indian Institute of Technology Mandi) is in Kamand valley. The village is located in Mandi Tehsil of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. The IIT Mandi Cell was set up at the IIT Roorkee on 18^th March 2009, to steer the activities of the IIT Mandi. . The IIT Mandi was registered as a society in Uttarakhand, on 20^th June 2009.Plans were finalized for development of a Transit Campus of IIT Mandi at Govt. Post graduate College, Mandi in August, 2009 during the visit of Shri Ashok Thakur, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, MHRD, Department of Higher Education, on Aug. 13^th, 2009. This campus will start functioning in near future and will be in operation till the main Campus at Kamand is developed.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) invites Online Applications from Indian Nationals for the following Non-Teaching (Sports Officer) positions

Position

• Sports Officer

Eligibility

Essential:
(i) Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in
Sports Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a
point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently
good academic record.
(ii) Record of having represented Inter University/ College at interUniversity competitions or State and /or National Championships.
Or
Qualified the National- level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC and passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these regulations.
Experience: Ten years as PTI or higher in GP of Rs. 4200 or
equivalent.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Pay Level as per 7th CPC Level-10
