Eligibility
System Administration – 1 Post Essential qualifications: Completed B.Tech/ B.E/ in IT/CS/EE/ECE in First Class or MCA/ M.Sc.( Computers)/ B.Sc. ( Computers) with First Division and any higher degree. Experience: 1+ Years in Linux System Administration. Fresher with Good Training Knowledge and willingness to learn can also apply.
Requirement:
- Install, configure, and Troubleshoot all the servers/ workstations/ laptops working on Linux or Windows platforms.
- Installing and configuring software, hardware and networks
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Knowledge of Red Hat, Centos, Debian, Windows and Ubuntu installations.
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models, Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Shell scripting, Cron Jobs, Storage devices, Networking knowledge, Package management systems, Backup and Recovery.
- Understanding of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and DNS concepts.
- Disk Partitioning and Mounting File System – Creating, Formatting, and mounting the partitions.
- Knowledge of Assembling Computers/ Workstations/ Servers and Computer peripherals.
- Basics of Web Service, Configuring Apache to host the website.
- Configure & maintain Network File System (NFS) and Network Information System (NIS).
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 15,000pm to 30,000/pm (based on qualification & experience)
