Description

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on a SERB research project in the Department of Chemistry, IIT Hyderabad. Project details: The candidate will work on a project related to the application of machine learning (ML) in the area of chemical physics. The project title is “Solving the time-dependent Schrӧdinger equation for molecular systems using machine learning”. Duration of appointment: The position is initially for one year. After completion of the first year, the expert committee will assess the candidate’s performance and the position can be extended for another year.

Eligibility

Essential qualifications: Candidates with an M.Sc. or equivalent degree from reputed institutions/universities can apply for the JRF position. The minimum percentage of B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees are 55 and 60 %, respectively. Candidates having NET(LS) and/or valid GATE are preferred. Expertise in coding is also preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 31000 per month + 24% HRA. Accommodation inside the IITH campus is subject to availability. If campus accommodation is available, HRA will not be provided.
