Description

Applications are invited from Indian nationals with excellent academic and research background for the post of Junior Research Fellow on DST-CSRI project. Details are given below:
Project Title :Role of motor and sensory plasticity in motor memory retention, consolidation, and enhancement. • Lab-based experiments on human subjects • Experiment designing and data collection using MATLAB or Python • Computational Modelling • Brain stimulation using TMS. The appointment will be on a purely temporary basis for one year, starting as soon as possible and extendable for another 1 year based on the performance and funding.

Eligibility

Essential qualifications:
• M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc./B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical / Electrical / Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
• MSc in Neuroscience / Psychology / Cognitive Science or other allied areas
• Qualified for any of the National Eligibility Tests – CSIR/UGC NET; GATE; DBT; ICMR.
Essential experience: Candidates with prior research experience in the following will be preferred.
• Experiments using human subjects
• MATLAB or Python
• Neuromodulation techniques (TMS or tDCS).

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Junior Research Fellow – INR 31,000/- pm + 27% HRA (if in-campus accommodation is not available).
