Description
The Research Associate – I position at IITH is a temporary role focused on a project titled “Understanding the Relationship between Circadian Rhythms, Motor Learning, and Plasticity for Establishing Novel Chronobiological Markers of Cognitive Functions.” The job involves conducting experiments using Actigraphy measurements, Morningness- Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Electroencephalography (EEG), and Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). Responsibilities also include project documentation, data analysis, presentation of work, and manuscript writing.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree, or have three years of research, teaching, and design and development experience in life sciences and related areas after MVSC/M.Pharm/ME/MTech. At least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals is required. Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years of research experience in chronobiology, first author publications in related fields, and proficiency in data analysis using RStudio, SPSS, and GraphPad PRISM. Experience in molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR and ELISA is also essential. The age limit is 35 years, with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹58,000 + 30% HRA (HRA applicable only if hostel facility is not availed)
