Description
The project aims to develop a high-throughput dynamic compression-shear bioreactor that simulates the biomechanics of knee joints in vivo, facilitating cartilage regeneration. This innovative research is conducted at the Jyoti and Bhupat Mehta School of Health Sciences and Technology, IIT Guwahati. The selected candidate will work closely with a team of experts in the field, contributing to the advancement of biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Post Graduate degree in basic science or a Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering. Selection is through a process involving the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship and GATE, or through national level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies. Desirable qualifications include degrees in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical, Aerospace, Instrumentation Engineering, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering. Candidates with a background in basic sciences such as Physics, Biosciences, Chemistry, or Pharmacy with experience in biomedical devices and instrumentation are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Monthly Salary: Rs. 37,000
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): Rs. 7,400
- Total: Rs. 44,400
