The Department of Chemistry at IIT Guwahati is conducting a project titled “Designs of electrically conductive and ionic superaerophobic coatings for improving electrochemical processes.” This project aims to explore advanced materials and coatings that can significantly enhance the efficiency of electrochemical reactions.   • Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – GATE/NET

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or equivalent higher degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Physical, Inorganic, Organic, or Polymer Chemistry. Additionally, candidates must be qualified in GATE or CSIR-UGC NET. Preference will be given to those with prior research experience in polymer chemistry and nanomaterials.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Basic Pay: Rs. 37,000
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): Rs. 7,400
  • Medical Allowance: Rs. 1,250
  • Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 45,650
