Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Eligibility

Position: Junior Research fellow(JRF)
Minimum Qualification: M.E./M.Tech/M.S.(Eng.) in Electrical Engineeringwith GATE score specializing in Insulationand High Voltage Engineering or PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in Insulation and High Voltage Engineering. The candidate should be experienced in ageing studies of solid and liquid insulation and in characterization of insulation.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Monthly Rs.31,000+Rs.4,960 HRA+1,250 Medical Required, Total 37,210.00
