Indian Institute of Technology Goa invites eligible candidates for The post of Junior Research Fellow

It has been an established tradition amongst educational institutions, in India and abroad, to have a motto that illustrates the belief of the institution. Since time immemorial India has been a knowledge civilization. The quest for knowledge has been one of the basic characteristics of the Indian ethos. Indians in ancient times undertook in-depth studies in areas of Metaphysics, Philosophy, Logic, Linguistics, Astronomy, Mathematics, Medicine and others. The history of our intellectual traditions is presented in our rich literature starting from the Rig Veda.

Description

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow to work under the project titled “Formal verification of adaptive control algorithms” in the School of Mathematics & Computer Science, IIT Goa. The posts are for a project funded by the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA).

Position

• Junior Research Fellow – 2 Post

Eligibility

• Junior Research Fellow – Master’s Degree (M.Tech) in Engineering/Technology or equivalent degree with 60% marks or CPI 6/10 or equivalent. (55% marks or CPI 5.5/10 or equivalent for SC/ST).
• Master’s Degree (MSc) in Mathematics, or Computer Science or
  equivalent degree with 60% marks or CPI 6/10 or equivalent. (55%
  marks or CPI 5.5/10 or equivalent for SC/ST). The student should
  have qualified national level exam such as NET/GATE.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) or equivalent degree in
  Engineering/Technology with 70% marks or CPI 7/10 or equivalent.
  (65% marks or CPI 6.5/10 or equivalent for SC/ST. The student
  should also satisfy one of the following criteria.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

Junior Research Fellow :

• Position 1. Three years in LABRI, Bordeaux, France (1500 euro/month) and remaining years in IIT Goa (35,000 / month from 3rd year onwards).

• Position 2. At IIT Goa (31,000/month for first 2 years, and 35,000 / month from 3rd year onwards). Support includes doing research in LABRI, France for a few months.
