Description

The Project Scientist position at IIT Gandhinagar is a temporary role focused on advancing semiconductor manufacturing research. The selected candidate will work on developing and calibrating physics-based TCAD models of diamond MOSFETs, performing device and process simulations, and executing cleanroom process flows for diamond devices. This role requires a deep understanding of semiconductor device physics and hands-on experience with TCAD simulation tools and cleanroom processes.

Project Details

Project title: “Silicon and Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Research and Training Hub (SAMARTH)” 

Duration: One year, extendable based on satisfactory performance. 

Principle Investigator: Prof. Nihar Ranjan Mohapatra.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Physics/Materials Science with an excellent academic record. Alternatively, an MTech. /M.S. with at least two years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field is acceptable. A minimum of 60% or equivalent grade is required from graduation onwards, with 55% in class 10th and 12th.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• INR 60,000 to 1,25,000 (based on qualifications)
