The Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar) is inviting applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty for its Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Description

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) at IIT Bhubaneswar is a comprehensive course aimed at equipping student teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote good health, fitness, and nutrition. The course covers various aspects of sports, physical fitness, and nutrition, enabling students to understand the importance of these elements in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Faculty members will be responsible for teaching this course, adhering to the institute’s norms and contributing to the academic program’s value.

Position

• Adjunct Faculty – Assistant Professor Level

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.P.Ed and a Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sports, with a specialization in Physical Education Pedagogy or Sports Psychology. The candidate’s association should add significant value to the academic program and students. Shortlisted candidates will be required to present a seminar and participate in an interaction session.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Honorarium of Rs. 3,000/- per lecture hour
• maximum ceiling of Rs. 25,000/- in a semester.
