Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai was established in the state of Chhattisgarh by Ministry of Human Resource and Development in the year 2016. IIT Bhilai is presently housed in its transit campus at Government Engineering College (GEC) Raipur, Chhattisgarh.IIT Bhilai has established a 3-D Printing Lab that constitutes an integral part of 3-D Modeling and Design course, a fabrication lab, an electrical lab, a computer lab and a library in a short duration.

Job Description

Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an IITB COMET Foundation funded research project with the following details:

Title of the Project:Development of O-RAN Radio Units

Position

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 03 post

Eligibility

Essential qualifications for JRF:

• Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at least 1 years of industry/research experience or M.Tech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation or related areas.
• Qualified in any of the following National eligibility test/exam:
  a)GATE
  b)CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
  c)National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and  Institutions  such  as  DST,  DBT,  DAE,  DOS,  DRDO,  MHRD,  ICAR,  ICMR,  IIT, IISc, IISER, etc

Desirable:

Experience in Analog and digital board design, testing and integration, knowledge in communication systems and wireless systems, Programming experience in C, C++, Python, MATLAB.

M. Tech/ ME/ MS in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation or related areas. Candidates are preferred with GATE, CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Rs. 31,000 + 16% HRA (per month)
