Description

The Department of Physics at IISER Bhopal is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join a dynamic research team working on the project titled “Emergent Phenomena in 2D Heterostructures.” This project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and aims to explore novel physical phenomena in two-dimensional materials. The selected candidate will engage in advanced research activities, contributing to the understanding and development of 2D heterostructures.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a master’s degree (M.Sc. or MTech. or equivalent) in Physics or Applied Physics from a recognized institute or university, with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on a 10-point scale. Additionally, candidates should have qualified for CSIR/UGC NET or GATE. Experience in two-dimensional spectroscopy is desirable and will be considered an advantage.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • The remuneration for the JRF position will be in accordance with DST norms and guidelines.
