Description
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram, a premier autonomous institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, is dedicated to promoting high-quality science education and research. The institute is currently seeking a Junior Research Fellow for a project titled “Understanding source-sink interaction for improved yield in sweet sorghum using multiscale modelling.” This project is funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and aims to enhance agricultural productivity through innovative research methodologies.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in any area of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified NET-JRF/LS or GATE with a valid score. Experience in running greenhouse-based plant experiments, performing statistical analyses, plant physiological and biochemical assays, germplasm maintenance, and knowledge of plant anatomy will be advantageous.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.37,000/-+HRA per month
