The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.IISER Pune runs a 5-year integrated Master’s programme, which is the BS-MS programme, and a post-Master’s PhD programme, in an intellectually vibrant atmosphere of research. Apart from classroom instruction, IISER Pune builds student skills in areas such as scientific inquiry, problem solving, communication skills, computational sciences, electronics and instrumentation and workshop practices.

Position

• अनुसांध न सहयोगी / Research Associate

Eligibility

Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry / Computational Chemistry / Physics / Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline Candidates who have submitted their thesis may also apply

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• RA: Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA to Rs. 54,000/- + 24% HRA based on experience
• SRF: Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA for Candidates who have submitted thesis for Ph.D. in the relevant areas but not completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree).
