The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Project Associate II. This position is part of a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), focusing on the systematic evaluation of the vesicle-tethering TRAPP complex components as potential antiviral targets against influenza. The project is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Indranil Banerjee and will be conducted at IISER Mohali.

Eligibility

Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSC or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates with at least 2 years of experience in virology, mammalian cell culture, advanced microscopy, molecular biology, handling live viruses in BSL-2/3 facility and operating high-throughput screening platform will be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• INR 28,000 + HRA
