Description

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking a qualified Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to join a cutting-edge research project funded by DST-SERB. The project aims to explore the regulatory interactions of the NMD pathway with hsr lncRNAs and their implications on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) using Drosophila as a model organism. This position is purely on a contract basis and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant scientific advancements.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, or related subjects with at least 55% marks. Additionally, applicants should have qualified the CSIR-National Level Test conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies. Experience in Cell Biology, Genetics, or Molecular Biology is desirable but not mandatory.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000/- + 10% HRA per month (Consolidated) based on valid CSIR / UGC-JRF / NET / GATE / Qualified National Level Test.
