The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from qualified Indian nationals for the position of Research Associate-1. This role is part of a project focused on deciphering stress regulatory mechanisms in plants, under the guidance of Principal Investigator Dr. Annapurna Devi Allu. The position is offered on a contract basis and is subject to performance reviews every six months.

Project Details
Project Title: “Deciphering stress regulatory mechanisms in plants”.
Tenure: The position is temporary for the duration of the project but is subject to review and extension upon satisfactory performance review every six months.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Annapurna Devi Allu
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree may also apply. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of high-quality research conducted during or after their Ph.D. program. Desirable skills include experience in computational analysis at the systems level, understanding gene/chromatin regulatory networks, and proficiency in Python and/or R programming. Experience in plant research and molecular biology experiments is also preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 58,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs. 42,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree.
