Description
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from qualified Indian nationals for the role of Research Associate-1. This position is part of a project focused on “Unravelling design criteria for engineering tunable multi-exitonic emission in low dimensional metal halide hybrids through doping/co-doping synthetic strategy.” The research area is material chemistry, and the project is led by Principal Investigator Dr. Janardan Kundu.

Eligibility
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Sciences. Those who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their Ph.D. degree are also eligible to apply. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program. Experience in growing single crystals of metal halide hybrid and/or expertise in crystallography and optical spectroscopy (UV-Vi’s spectroscopy, photoluminescence, time-resolved photoluminescence, thermal studies) is highly desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.58,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates with a Ph.D. certificate.
- Rs.42,000/- per month + 10% HRA for candidates awaiting their Ph.D. degree, provided they submit a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defence is pending.
