The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is inviting applications from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). This opportunity is part of a Qmet Technology Foundation sponsored project focused on developing field-deployable quantum-enhanced field sensing on an integrated hybrid platform. This project aims to leverage atom-like defects in diamond as quantum sensors to achieve high sensitivities and sub-millimeter scale spatial resolution.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Physics or an MTech/B.Tech in ECE/EE/CS/Physics or related disciplines with a good academic record (first class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0). Additionally, candidates must have qualified a National Eligibility Test (UGC, CSIR, LS, GATE, etc.) with a valid rank/score at the time of application. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in 2D Materials, Optics, Photonics, Nanofabrication, Quantum Information, and related fields.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA (18%)
