Description
The research project titled “The impact of Fault Zone Deformation on Slope Stability and Prediction of Initial Landslide Occurrence” seeks a dedicated Project Assistant. The selected candidate will engage in full-time research activities, including collecting, processing, and analysing structural and geological data. Responsibilities also include preparing thin sections, conducting microstructural analyses, quantifying strain, and preparing maps using the ArcGIS platform.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a degree in Geology or M.Sc./MTech Earth Sciences from a recognised university or institute, with a minimum of 60% aggregate or a CGPA/CPI of 7.0 and above on a 10-point scale. The candidate should have studied Geology and any two from Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry as minors in their B.Sc. Desirable qualifications include field and data processing knowledge in Structural Geology, and experience with MATLAB/Python programming and ArcGIS.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 20,000 + HRA (as applicable)
