Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at IISER Berhampur is a temporary role under a project funded by the Science & Technology Department, Government of Odisha. The project, titled “Diversity and Bioprospecting Analysis of Odisha’s Coastal and Marine Flora for Harnessing their Potential and Sustainable Conservation,” involves comprehensive research activities including screening, identification, and chemical profiling of bioactive compounds from marine organisms.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M.Sc./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Life Science or related areas. A score in any national level examination such as CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, or ICAR is preferable. The position is initially for one year and may be extended based on performance and funding availability.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹37,000/- plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) if applicable
