Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT-V) is established by the Ministry of Education (MoE) , Government Of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) as Institute of National Importance with a view to develop new knowledge in information technology and to provide manpower of global standards for the information technology industry and to provide for certain other matters connected with such institutions or incidental thereto. The partners in this project are Government Of India, Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute, Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals and Tata Consultancy Services. The Institute was established in the year 2013. At present, IIIT-V is operating from its temporary premises at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) till the time its new campus is made operational at Vadodara, Gujarat. The Government of Gujarat has lent support to the Institute by providing 50 acres of land at Dumad, Vadodara and a Academic Block at GEC, Gandhinagar

Position: Student Interns
Qualifications: B.Tech./ M.C.A. / M.Sc (Computer Science) – final year students enrolled in regular full time courses and permitted to take-up internships in outside organizations will only be considered.
Engagement: Full-time (9am to 5pm). Physical presence at Gandhinagar will be required.
Mode/ Place of Work: Offline (physical) at IIIT Vadodara, Block-9, GEC Campus, Sector 28, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382028.
Technical Knowledge: The following technical skills are expected from the applicants:
- Relational Database Management (preferably MySQL)
- PHP for web page designing
- Code Analysis and Documentation
Desirable Experience: Past experience in building database applications deployed over web servers (as freelancer or student project work)
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Student Interns
Stipend: The interns would be paid a stipend as per the following scheme –
- INR 5,000/- to 10000/- in the first 2 months depending on skill set.
- INR 10,000/- to 15000/- for next 4 months (based on performance and delivery in
the first 2 months) - Based on performance and delivery in the first 6 months, the contract can be
extended further with enhanced stipend/ consolidated pay (following graduation)
