Indian Institute of Information Technology Manipur is an institution under Ministry of Higher Education, Govt. of India. IIIT Manipur was established in 2015 in order to develop Manipur as preferred destination for Information Technology (IT) related manpower and industry. This shall enable Manipur to gear up for providing IT related services as well as high-quality Research & Development in IT. IIITM offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and PhD in CSE, ECE and Humanities and Basic Sciences from its city campus located at Mantripukhri, Imphal. Although a new institute, the campus has adequate classrooms, laboratories for CSE and ECE, conference hall, playground, hostels, faculty quarters, guest house and own administrative offices.

Project Title: “ISHAAN: A system for Bidirectional Machine Translation between 1) English and Assamese, Bodo, Manipuri, Nepali 2) Manipuri and Hindi 3) Assamese and Bodo”

Position

• Project Manager – 1
• Office Assistant – 1

Eligibility

Position: Project Manager
● ME/MTech in CSE or BE/BTech with GATE in CSE.
● Minimum 4 Years of Technical experience in R&D projects preferred.
● Technical experience in R&D projects.
● Good programming skills.

Position: Office Assistant
● Graduate with a minimum of 6 months experience in R&D projects.
● Basic computer skills.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Manager – Rs 75,000
• Office Assistant – Rs 30,000
