It is a Centre of Excellence for pursuing Design and Manufacturing Oriented Engineering Education and Research and for promoting competitive advantage of Indian products in global markets.

IIITDM Kancheepuram is presently offering undergraduate, postgraduate, dual-degree programmed in the areas of Computer, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and inter-disciplinary Ph.D. programmers in core and applied areas of basic sciences (Physics and Mathematics) and engineering. It functions with the vision to groom engineers with design and manufacturing skills. The institute gives significant amount of emphasis for practice courses and theory concepts are also explored along with the relevant laboratory course. Eligibility
Position:Research Associate – II
Essential qualification: PhD or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.E/M.Tech with at least one SCI indexed paper. Desirable qualification: PhD in Electrical Engg or related areas, M.E/M.Tech in Control Engg./ Power Electronics and Drives/Embedded systems and B.E/B.Tech in EEE / Instrumentation and Controls/ECE. Career first class (>= 60%), Essential knowledge in image processing and electrical drives.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 61,000/- + HRA p.m.
