Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) is one of the IIITs set up by MHRD, Govt of India in PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP(PPP) mode. It started functioning from the academic year 2017. Bhagalpur is a city of historical importance on the southern banks of the river Ganges in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the 3rd largest city of Bihar and also the headquarters of Bhagalpur district and Bhagalpur division. Known as Silk City, it is a major educational, commercial, and political centre, and listed for development under the Smart City program, a joint venture between Government and industry. The Gangetic plains surrounding the city are very fertile. The river is home to the Gangetic dolphin and the Vikramshila Gangetic Dolphin Sanctuary is established near the town. The ancient Vikramshila university, established in 9th century, was intended to complement the world class universities at Nalanda and Takshila. It lasted for four centuries before being destroyed during an attack by Bakhtiyar Khilji of the Delhi Sultanate.

Essential Qualifications
Project Associate: (I) B.E B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related disciplines with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA with GATE qualification score. OR (ii) M.E. M.Tech. in VLSI Microelectronics! Embedded Systems or related disciplines with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CG PA from any recognized University Institute. Project Assistant: (i) B.E/B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related disciplines with minimum of 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA. Note: GATE score shall be exempted for candidates having B.Tech degree with minimum CPI 7.0 from IITs/NITs/IIITs. Desirable Qualifications: 1.Candidates with expertise in EDA tools along with domain knowledge in VLSI, Machine learning/Deep Learning, Embedded systems will be preferred. 2.Gate qualified candidates will be preferred.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 31,000- per month (consolidated) without HRA for Project Associate with an increment of 10% annually. Rs. 20,000!- per month (consolidated) without HRA for Project Assistant with an increment of 1000 annually.
