Eligibility
Applicant should be an Indian national with a PhD awarded from a recognized Institute/University with first class (in terms of grades, etc.) in all preceding levels (i.e., graduation onwards) and a good academic record throughout. Candidates with a PhD Thesis submitted may also apply. However, if selected, applicant must produce the certificate of award of a PhD before joining the PDF program. At least one degree from graduation onward or work experience on a regular pay scale/guest faculty should be from CFTIs (preferably, IISc/IITs/IIITs/NITs/IIMs/ISI/IISERs) or a foreign university with QS rank ≤750.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Fellowship: Rs. 1,08,393/- per month
- Contingency Grant: Rs. 1,00,000/- (On pro-rata basis, e.g. Rs. 25,000/quarter.
