Description

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at IIITA is seeking a Junior Research Assistant for a project titled “A Unified In-Memory Computing (IMC) Radiation-Hardened Dual-Port Memory Architecture.” This project is supported by the Council of Science and Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh, under the sanction order no. CST/E&T/D-979 dated 05/08/2026. The project aims to explore advanced memory architecture solutions, and the selected candidate will play a crucial role in its execution.

Position

• Junior Research Assistant 

Project Details

Project Title: “A Unified In-Memory Computing (IMC) Radiation-Hardened Dual-Port Memory Architecture”.

Duration:  Three (03) years or date of completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Kavindra Kandpal.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Indian citizens residing in Uttar Pradesh. They should hold a B.E./B.Tech., M.Sc., or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or allied areas. A first-class academic record in both graduate and post-graduate examinations is required. Candidates with higher qualifications are encouraged to apply. The upper age limit is 28 years as of 1st April 2026. Knowledge of CMOS VLSI Design is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 25,000 per month (fixed). No HRA will be provided.
