IIEST, Shibpur (Erstwhile “Bengal Engineering College”) ranks 27th in NIRF-2021 among Engineering Institutes. It is the first college to become Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) in India in 2014. The Institute has a rich history. It is empowering the nation since 1856. Considering the year of establishment, it is the 3rd engineering college in India but considering the year of graduation it is the 2nd oldest engineering college in India. Essential Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. in Aerospace/Mechanical/Chemical Engg. + M. Tech with valid GATE score, or B.E./B.Tech. in Aerospace/Mechanical/Chemical Engg. + M Tech from any recognized university without valid GATE score.
Desirable Qualifications:
Theoretical, experimental, and numerical simulations knowledge on fundamentals of droplets, droplet evaporation, and drop-hot surface interaction phenomena. Software skills: Ansys Fluent, or C/C++/ Python/MATLAB
Age Limit:
Maximum 35 Years (Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 Yrs for SC/ST/OBC/Woman and Physically Handicapped Candidates).
Remuneration
- Fellowship:
- Rs. 31000 + 24%HRA per month (for valid GATE score candidates)
Rs 25000 + 24% HRA per month (for non-GATE candidates)
