Project Details
Junior Research Fellow:
Project Title: “Omics-based Interventions for Characterizing the Pearl Millet Genotypes for Rancidity and Development of Nutri-Rkh Processed Products with Improved Bioavailability, and Shelf-Life” (GCOE on Millets 12-258 TG3361)”.
Young Professional-II:
Project Title: “Exploring the molecular regulatory networks of nutrient use efficiency and grain quality in wheat under elevated carbon dioxide and heat stress for developing climate resilient wheat”(CAitin Project- 21-56TG3064)”.
Duration: The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31-03- 2027 or till completion of project whichever is earlier and may be extended periodically subject to performance of the candidate till the termination of the project.
Eligibility
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Post Graduate Degree (M. Sc.) in Plant Biochemistry/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ from a recognized institution with4/5 year of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having 3 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualification.
- Young Professional-II: Post Graduate Degree (M. Sc.) in Plant Biochemistry/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Environmental Science/Bioinformatics.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA@27% for lst and 2nd year, Rs. 35,000/- per month +HRA@27% for3, d year (as per ICAR norms).
- Young Professional-II (YP-II): Rs. 42,000 per month (consolidated)
